Delighted that we have now completed the design, install and commissioning of a new conventional fire alarm system for the race horse rescue centre.
These guys are an amazing charity in between Carlisle & Longtown in Cumbria.
We have used a Kentec Sigma conventional panel which are great bits of kit and we have used Apollo Alarmsense detection and sounders.
We are back!!!
After a great festive period we are back to work. This week has all been about prepping for the upcoming weeks but more importantly we have been getting ready for our SSAIB audit at the end of this month. A lot of good work has gone in to make sure we are well ahead and ready!
Looking forward to broadening our services for all our customers in 2019……….
In our last week before Christmas we have been squeezing in as much as possible for our customers.
This week we have had the pleasure to provide a new Grade 2 Wireless Intruder Alarm and 1080p high definition CCTV for our new customer The House of Malt who have recently opened a new shop on Warwick Road in Carlisle.
For the intruder alarm we have used a Pyronix Enforcer wireless system for their reliability and ease of use with mobile app control so the customer can arm and disarm from the Pyronix Pro Control app and also receive push notifications for alarm events.
For the CCTV system we have installed world leading products from Hikvision. Using 2mp 1080p HD cameras which provide up to 40m IR range which provide fantastic clear images.
The shop looks amazing and they sell a huge range of wines and spirits so if you are in the area go and take a look!

The week before Christmas is always one of the most challenging weeks of the year for us and this week is exceeding that and we are very happy about it.
Today we complete some fire alarm additions for Longtown community centre near Carlisle following a recent risk assessment carried out which flagged up a few areas of high risk.
With this being a high priority we squeezed it in for the customer before Christmas and were in and out within 2 days with little disruption.
On to the next one and very much looking forward to Christmas this year!!
So we head into the last two weeks before the big man himself arrives and as always there is plenty to do in time.
We will be shutting down for the festive period on Friday 21st December and will re-open on Wednesday 2nd January.
Although we will be closed we will still be available for out of hours emergency call outs so if you need us we are still here.
We were asked last week to take a look at a block of flats that had been empty for some time and damage had been caused to many parts of the property including the fire alarm system.
CABLES CUT EVERYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!
We went in and established where all the existing cabling went and what it did. Some devices such as smoke and heat detectors, sounders were either damaged or missing so once we got the cabling sorted we installed new devices to replace the missing and fully re-commissioned and tested any items that we were asked to keep.
The old addressable fire alarm control panel was replaced with a new Kentec Syncro 1 loop analogue addressable panel and fully tested. Good to see the property fully protected with a fire alarm again.
We are constantly working with the farming community in Cumbria these days which is fantastic. CCTV is becoming a huge demand within agriculture, not only to protect property and equipment but also to keep an eye on livestock at all hours of the day and night.
For this client we installed new 5mp POC (power over coax) HD CCTV Cameras covering the general area around the farm through road and entrances and we are really happy with the outcome.
Some of the images below are screen shots from a mobile viewing app. The client now wherever they are can keep a close watch giving them peace of mind and added security.
It has been a busy recent few weeks for us in the run up to Christmas. CCTV is absolutely booming and continues to be our strongest part of the business.
Last week we completed a new IP CCTV system for one of our local council customers which has been installed to protect a ground works depot in Carlisle. Using Hikvision 1080p 2mp Cameras with Darkfighter technology we have achieved great results for the client.
