Peter has been in the industry since leaving school in 2000 building up 20 years valuable experience.<\/strong><\/p>

Starting as an apprentice for a national company Initial Electronic Security, Peter spent 8 years as an apprentice then into a qualified security engineer. In 2008 he started a small business, Walker Fire & Security Ltd to which he sold to a another local Cumbrian based business Compass Fire & Security who he went to work for as an engineer. Following that Peter went to work for another national company in Chubb Fire & Security as a sales executive gaining valuable experience away from the engineering side. In 2016 Peter decided to leave Chubb and start PWS Systems Cumbria Ltd and hasn’t looked back.<\/strong><\/p>

Peter’s main roles within the business is the installation side, surveying, media work, audit & compliance & finance.<\/strong><\/p>

Away from work, Peter is a massive Liverpool FC fan and Boxing enthusiast, he has a brilliant supportive family with wife Emma and two daughters Phoebe and Wren.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Joe McKenzie<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Joe has worked in the fire and security industry for approximately 20 years working for local Cumbrian based companies.<\/strong><\/p>

He started his career at West Cumbrian based Pro-Tec Systems in Maryport and spent many years as an apprentice then as a full time qualified engineer. In late 2014 – early 2015 Pro-tec was sold to another company Compass Fire & Security to whom Joe worked for as an engineer but then went on to work as a surveyor and manage a team of engineers building valuable experience and knowledge. In September 2019 Joe joined PWS Systems as a partner working alongside\u00a0<\/strong>Peter both with ambitions to grow a great business with their combined skills and knowledge.<\/strong><\/p>

Along with Install duties, Joe’s main role within the business is Maintenance & Servicing keeping all of our customers up to date and reacting to fault calls when required. Joe also carries out audit & compliance duties and has the important task of building our maintenance portfolio which ultimately will help the business grow.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Outside work, Joe like Peter is an avid Liverpool FC supporter and likes a glass of red from time to time. He has a great family behind, with a wife and two daughters to keep him busy.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Julie is our newest addition working as our Office Administrator and joins us with approximately 19 years experience of working for a security company.<\/strong><\/p>

We are delighted to have Julie on board at this stage as she brings great knowledge and understanding of a niche industry that we work in. Julie worked for many years in West Cumbria for Workington Based JP Alarms & Locksmiths and then for Compass Fire & Security as an office administrator.<\/strong><\/p>

Julie’s main roles with us are finance & invoicing, booking of installations and maintenance work, audit and compliance duties and other various admin tasks.<\/strong><\/p>

Julie works for us on a part time basis on Monday, Thursday and Fridays and will be happy to speak to you.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
